1 x Returned Soldiers and Sailors Imperial League No: S910 (1920), 1 x RSL Life Member Badge NA4932, 1 x RSL Badge NA54412 . This style of RSL member's badge was worn from 1919 to the early years of the Second World War when the organisation was known as the Returned Sailors and Soldiers Imperial League of Australia. The Victoria Cross is the highest award for acts of bravery in wartime. It was instituted in 1856 by Queen Victoria and made retrospective to 1854 to cover the period of the Crimean War. It is possible for any serving member of the armed forces to obtain this award. Occupation of Japan - Established originally by the British Commonwealth Occupation Forces Association of Queensland and for sale to all ex-service personnel who have served in Japan with the Australian component of occupation forces, or who served in Japan during the qualifying period with a Commonwealth unit closely associated with the Australian contingent. The 2nd Division of the Australian Army, also known as the 2nd (Australian) Division, commands all the Reserve brigades in Australia. These are the 4th in Victoria and Tasmania, the 5th in New South Wales, the 11th in Queensland, the 13th in Western Australia, and the 8th spread across the country. The division is also responsible for the security of Australia's northern borders through its Regional Force Surveillance Units. The division was first formed in Egypt in July 1915 during World War I as part of the First Australian Imperial Force (1st AIF).
