The Demobilization Procedure Book was developed and issued as a handbook by the Australian Military Forces to service men and women once they became available for disppersal. The handbook was used to facilitate the action necessary for demobilisation following the end of World War II in 1945. The completion of the handbook and following actions was required before a Discharge Certificate could be issued.
