William (Bill) Dyson, aged 22, followed his younger brothers to enlist in January 1916 as they were enroute to Egypt. Frederick (Fred) Dyson was the youngest of three brothers. Bert Dyson enlisted the same day as his Fred Dyson at Holdsworthy, New South Wales during November 1915.
